Do you have that one book stuck in your head?
You know which book I mean...
The one you dream about.
The one that catches you wondering how they're doing until you remember that it was just a book.
The one that you just know you'll read again, even though you may not have given it a terrific rating when you first read it.
This isn't something I think about normally but I will say that Nora Robert's books are usually the ones that do this to me. For instance, I've read the Key trilogy several times and still I'll sometimes catch myself wondering if their business is still going well. Or thinking that I need to stop by and grab a book. It's not even real! but to me it just is.
Another one? Well, in one of the JD Robb books (I'm not telling which one) an entire family is murdered in their sleep. All except for one. She was spared because she had a friend spend the night and went down the back staircase to get a drink and the 'team' missed her. I frequently either wake up to check on my kids or to just walk around the house.
Which book catches you?

Good morning, Team!!
So how is everyone doing with this challenge?
This month I've read two books that have been suggested to me:
So do you have any books that you'd like to read because someone has mentioned them?
Do you need help remembering them?
Enter them in the following linky:
Please, use this format to keep it straight:
Gina ~ Hott Books wants to read Blind Man's Alley
Link it to the review you read that made you want to read that book.
When you've finished your book, just let me know & I'll remove it from the list.
I hope this helps each of us keep our reviews straight!!
So how is everyone doing with this challenge?
This month I've read two books that have been suggested to me:
- I read A Christmas Carol, which was put on my son's reading list for school & he
suggesteddemanded that I read it with him and his class. - I was also recommended Here Lies Bridget by A Blog About Nothing. I had seen it on Netgalley but blew it off because it was a YA (which I generally don't enjoy) but after reading her review I decided to give it a go. That review won't be up for a few days but I thought I'd mention it.

A Little, Small, Mini Challenge
I just realized something......DUH!!!only took me a couple of weeks for my brain to catch up. I suffer from those 2 dreaded diseases, C.R.S. and well most other people have senior moments but I have "senior days" lol. I have trouble remembering to do things for 1 blog and now my dahsboard is full and the three of us are trying to get into the same parking spot....only have parking permit. Where was I? Oh Ok..got it...one of my partners (can't remember which one) thought it would be fun if all the cohost had a "R" nickname. So I got right to work, even though very lame but thought Julie would be Rook as she owns a Nook, Gina has both a Nook and Kindle so she was Rindle and me, who has a Sony, was Rony...ok...you can stop laughing at me now and, if you have to, run to the bathroom (because you are laughing so hard). So Self and I was thinking today, that this will be a mini challenge within the challenge,..What nicknames would you give us? Remember...the more comments the more chances of winning for a surprise giveaway so get those thinking caps on and let us know what you think. Can't wait to see what you think!!!

How About You?
I know, I know, I've been slacking! It just requires me much thought and contemplation before I start blogging. For some reason I need to stop and think before I start typing.
I'm already so off topic!
I love this Challenge but... well, it has occurred to me that I have no idea who has given me the recommendations for many of the books on my TBR list. Sure, I'm part of book clubs so they obviously recommended those, but beyond that? I've not a clue.
Cheryl uses a simple but effective post-it method that just won't work for me because... well, first of all, I have a TBR list of more than 1000 and second, I read ebooks and just don't have a large enough Nook to keep all of the post-it's I need.
So, I've come up with a method I believe will be effective. I use goodreads to generally track my TBR list of books I've not yet bought so I've just started adding the name of the person who recommended it to me. I also keep a spreadsheet of the books I own that and I've started adding the names of the wonderful people who send me the books or suggest books the books I add to my list from a galley site. I'm hoping this will work for me.
How are you planning to track your list?

Get Ready, Set, Go
Happy New Year Every One!!
Today is the official start of The Three Rs Challenge!!! I am so excited!!!! And as Gina will tell you.."I'm easy" (no...not in that sense lol) but what makes me happy. I am hoping that we find some really great books, have discussions, recognize those bloggers that take the time to write the reviews, and recheck them them 2-4 times before publishing them ( you know...we all to it), have some laughs, form new friendships, get to know each other a little bit better and have some giveaways (just what you need....more books to shove into your already overflowing bookshelves). So ...if you come across, in your travels around the blogosphere, and see a really great review, let the rest of us know, leave the blogger's link here (and it would be nice if you comment on that blogger's post that you are doing so) so that we can check it out, and when you read the book let us know what you think of it. OK enough of my rambling....off to search....ttys!!!
